When my client crashes upon logging out a character, which is happening a ton since last patch, Alinco settings usually reset, and I have to go back in and change them.

Why does this happen?

Anyway to prevent this from happening?

I know that lifetank would do that because it wouldn't actually save the settings until logout.

I get that... but, say I've changed the settings, logged in and out a dozen times, no problems.. then, I crash, now settings are back to default. That just doesn't make sense to me.

If I made changes that last time I logged in before it crashed, fine, I get it won't save.. but not when I've been logging in and out a ton, then whammo.. gone.

Love the programs and efforts people do. Seriously. Just gets frustrating.

If you are running Vista/7 and have Alinco installed to the programs file directory and don't have the UAC turned off, then even though you log in and out, Vista/7 isn't allowing anything to actually be saved. Try disabling UAC and that should clear up your problem.
