Having trouble installing Decal on Windows 7
|
Keep getting this error:
Module C:\Program Files (x86)\Decal\Decalnet.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147023898. Contact your support personnel.
Im sure Im missing something simple. Havent had to install decal on a new machine in a long time.
Any help would be appreicated.

if you read through the forums, you will see literally hundreds of posts saying NOT TO INSTALL TO THE DEFAULT DIRECTORY. Pick a directory like c:\games

Tried entering that and it said directory does not exist.
Try to bare in mind Im a computer idiot so I may need more direct step by step help : /

You should've gotten a message saying that it doesn't exist and do you want to create the directory. If not, go into windows explorer and create the directory yourself.
