I was having issues with decal before and some plugins. So i got rid of all my plugins and reinstalled decal (in my own directory not a default one.) So now that Decal is installed I have a few blank spaces with red X's that say <no Dll> and I cannot remove them. I think this has something to do with my install and then removal of Virindi Tank. So basically How do I get rid of these blank spaces with the red x in them (the ones that same no name no version and the Virindi ones)?


Also on a side note, Can you have like say Lifetankx or portal tank and Virindi tank all instaled and just select whihc one to use via decal with out having issues?

IF you know what you are doing, going to the registry and manually deleting them isn't too difficult.


on the other hand if you are a computer novice and never done it, you can seriously hose things up. and would be better off getting a registery repair/cleanup utility. this one is ok and the price is right (free) http://www.glaryutilities.com/

Follow the instructions in this post: How to do a clean install of Decal 3

A general-purpose registry cleaner like the one agnari posted is not likely to help you here (though I've never used it myself, so I don't know exactly what it does). The CleanDecalReg.exe linked in that post is specific to Decal.

Thanks for the replies but neither of thsoe 2 things helped out. decalcleanreg didn't do anything and a reg cleaner is not picking up anything. but clearly decal is registering a few no mane programs and a part of the virindi bundle still there but not. Have no idea what to do to get rid of this
