which version? bundled or standalone classic? not sure IF the standalone supports lvl 8 spells and 2hand

Yes, get the version number either from decal or when it tells you upon login.

Agnari and Mag, thanks for taking the time to help me. It turns out I was not using the bundle all along. I got it now and everything works great!
