VTank works flawlessly with my melee chars. It works beautifully with all characters on my laptop. It, however, hates my mage on my desktop computer. I was looking through what is and what is not enabled between the two machines, but I'm at a loss to find out why one works and the other doesn't. Or, why it works for only a few characters and not all of them.

I've had Vtank installed by itself, and I've also installed it via the bundle, going back to the previous version without any success.

first off i'd get PIMPed and set it up so you don't have MuleTraderIt running while Vtank is running.

Is that a different tradebot program? I'm not actively running muletradeit while trying to get VT to work on my desktop. Not a huge deal...am using VT for my melees anyway. Just hate not being able to figure this out.

I have had this error pop up before. Im not 100% sure, but I think it comes from logging in different characters. When you log in your mage, vtank is looking for an item that your melee has and can't find it.


Make sure the Mine Only option is checked under profiles.


Edit: After looking at the error again, Utank is causing it. Does your mage have an UST in his main pack? Not sure what checks it does when logging in.


Edit2: Also, uncheck the Darkside filter. I have seen this cause problems.

PIMPed is Plug In Profile Manager. i tried to get a address for it but don't think the link i have is active anylonger.

basically what PIMPed did is once you've logged in all the toons on the account and the plugin manager has been turned on you can then use an external program to set profiles per individual or set individuals to profile X, which means when you log in a toon it's profile of plugins are loaded and the others are unloaded.


so if you have plugins A, B, C and Z where ab&c are used for hunting, but Z is used only by the MP trade bot you could set a hunting profile (any name you chose) and set it to ab&c then set toons 1, 2, 3...x to that profile then for toon y you might establish a trader profile and set it to plugin z.


so when Y is logged in the only plugin active is Z, when you log out toon Y and in any of the other toons plugins ab&c are only ones loaded.
