Ok so I want to buy an alchemist's crystal, the bot has 3 in stock.


I have found typeing:

/(name), add alchemist's crystal:0 gets an unable to find and item with name or value

/(name), add alchemist's crystal gives me I have more than 1, please specify the value......(value is zero)


Any ideas what to type to buy one of these?

If you /tell it help the bot will tell you use to use -1 for the value if the items value is 0.

I have just come back to the game after a long absence and I too find dealing with tradebots a bit difficult. I know there used to be a plugin to help with purchasing items from trade bots, but having looked at plugin lists I can't seem to find it.

Is there anything out there these days to assist with this?

Botshopper is still available and it works (for me, anyway).

I ran into this last night. I didn't have Botshopper on (I use it to buy multiple salvages) and I wanted to buy a Killagurg Club for my noob (the bot had like 8 of them). I tried every way I knew how and couldn't get the bot to work. Then I remembered - long ago in a land far, far away, the bot trade programs used a comma in stead of a colon. With the comma you had to put a 0 (zero) for the value instead of the -1 (for items that actaully have a zero value).
