I'm getting a red x in decal. I tried to find the reg entry to remove it (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Decal\Plugins\{12132875-071F-4800-86C1-142F128DBE48}) but I don't have this line. Any help would be appreciated.

did you install the files in the alpha8 directory that I sent in the zip file?

EDIT: There is an update to actool to version 550.

followed the directions as in the read me. I just installed the files from that link and restarted decal. Still red x tho. Also still no reg entry.

I just installed this on two computers, one winxp and the other vista, with no problems. The only thing I had to do different on the vista machine is change the install directory.

1) install actool 5.40
2) get the patch for 5.50 and put those 2 files in the actool directory overwriting the two already there.

Try uninstall ACtools completely and removing the actool directory and then reinstall. Make sure you change the install directory if you are using vista or win7.
