Has anybody ever had problems installin .net Framework 2.0

I run windows xp.. and i swear my pc will not install this for the life of it... im about to chunk this computer off a bridge and then shoot it a million times... its been 2 weeks ive tried everything that i can possibly think off.. to get it to work and nothing.... i have an 2005 pc shouldnt it install ?

YOu have to make sure your OS is completely updated via Windows Update.

Also if you have .net 4.0 you can not install/uninstall .net 2.0 (from my experience)
In such a case you need to remove .net 4.0 then install .net 2.0, then reinstall .net 4.0

^^ That is true lol... but i figured it out .. had to go into a folder of mine called Windows.. Taht ahd all my microsoft in it but decal works now lol :] ty
