Anyone know why this keeps happening on my machine? I was logged in playing AC with Decal running just fine last night and have been for several days. Running Win7 64-bit with AC and Decal installed in alternate directories. I didn't change anything on the computer, but today when I try to run AC it tells me that dll is missing even though it is in the windows\system32 directory.

sticky, first thread on this board has links to dl the d3dx9_30. you get a big file that when extracted provides about 145 cab files. there is one called dxsetup.exe i beleive is what you run fter everthing is extracted. doing that should clear up the message issue.

Been there done that and every time it breaks Quest Timer and Castaway and I have to uninstall and reinstall them. It was installed last night and I was playing fine. I haven't done anything to my computer except check email and surf the net since then. I can't understand why it was installed last night, but just seems to have uninstalled itself.

Do you have automatic updates turned on? Alot of times windows will update without you realizing it and mess stuff up.

Also, post a decal export for us.

I'll do a before and after next time it happens. I do not have automatic Windows update on. It is very strange.
