Updating instructions


Go Arrow:

1) Open Go Arrow and go to Atlas > Update

2) Change the URL to wherever you saved the new data_cod.xml file. (In my case C:\data_cod.xml)

3) Make sure Database Type is set to Crossroads of Dereth.

4) Click Update, when Finished click Update a Second time.

Or:

1) Open Go Arrow and go to Atlas > Update

2) Change the URL to http://db.tt/6UlVIW (Only the Original Version of the Database)

3) Make sure Database Type is set to Crossroads of Dereth.

4) Click Update, when Finished click Update a Second time.


Dereth Explorer:

1) Back Up your existing data_cod.xml file located at C:\Program Files\Dereth Explorer\Data\data_cod.xml by default

2) Copy the new Data_cod.xml file to C:\Program Files\Dereth Explorer\Data\


I would like the Asheron's Call Community to verify these locations in your travels. If you happen to notice any errors, Wrong locations / Coordinates, mis-spellings, errors with the quest(s) attached to any location or NPC, ect. ect. Feel free to drop me a message either here (Via PM) or in-game (Guinevere du Avalon on TD, or Darktorizo on Virindi's Chat System) if I happen to be around.

Here are a couple non existant portals in the databse:

South Direlands to Mayoi [83.6S, 34.7W]
Shoushi to Yaraq [33.9S, 72.8E]
Shoushi to Hebian-To [33.9S, 72.2E]
Shoushi to Tou-Tou [34.1S, 73.1E]

Also I have noticed that the Hebian-To to Q'alabar portal is missing in the db. I don't have the exact coords at hand, I'll get them the next time I have to use that portal.

I play on DT so I try to avoid TN whenever I can and thus I'm using the non TN version of your database If I find any more missing/non existant portals I'll report them here.
