I want to track XP/Hour and Automate looting, which plugins are best?

While manual hunting...
I'm aware of Alinco and Virindi Reporter, is that what I should go with?
I want something to tell me if there are Majors/Epics, spell components, pristines, and death items, what's my best bet?
I have not used the two plugins I mentioned yet, and am going to try them out now, but please tell me if there's something else I should be using.

Well this didn't go so well... tried out Alinco and VTank and I just couldn't get them to work, maybe I was expecting something else...
I just need something like 6th sense was, pop up on loot and let me pick what I want

If you download one of the sample loot profiles from Virindi's site and spend some time configuring it, Virindi Classic Looter is by far the best option for looting out there. It's supremely flexible, fast, and is just in every way (except being able to configure from in-game) better than Alinco.

I believe that 'Agentz' tracks xp. As for looting, I really don't know if there's anything -better- than Alinco3 and (from what I've heard) Vtank.
My son wanted to dl Vtank for the loot system, but from what I read, you have to have the combat macro running in order to use the looter and I'm not letting my 14 year old run any macros and get my account banned.

You don't have to run any of the "combat" features to use VTank for looting. You just set it up, kill a bunch of stuff, press "start", then when it's done looting press "stop".
Also, using VTank to fight for you is not against the CoC if you are at the keyboard and able to pass an envoy check. This has been repeatedly confirmed by the developers.

Hmm so those are pretty much the options? I was hoping to find something that would detect in the chat window and/or pop up a box. What do people use now for mob detection?

I use:
AgentZ: for various huds and xp tracking
FindIt!: for loot alerts, creature alerts, etc. It does not auto loot, which is fine by me as I prefer to loot myself.
