Hello,
When I go to the Drakier website and go to setup and attempt the download my kaspersky notifies [Virus HEUR: Trojan.Win32.Generic. Was wondering if it is indeed infected.

Tried to duplicate what you did .. Had no problems.
The one I downloaded matches a copy I got some years ago.

anti virus works not by identifying an actual virus but by identifying something close to it.
Heuristic is what its called i believe.
So there are a ton of false positives.
