So, in short, many times when I run VTank I get this error message after running it for a bit: "acclient has stopped working". This error closes AC, which is annoying. I have actually seen this happen many times, just sitting at the computer and for no reason this error message will come up and AC will shut down.
My operating system is Windows7 (x86). For plug-ins, I generally run VirindiTank, SSSort, VirindiReporter, FOG, VirindiChatSystem, and some others from the VirindiBundlePack.
A few days ago, I re-installed AC, and all of my Decal plug-ins to move them from the Program Files (x86) folder to a new folder....I have been told that this will eliminate a bunch of problems people encounter running Decal on a Windows 7 machine. On the contrary, this action has actually made me run into MORE issues. The only thing that would happen while I had AC installed under Program Files is that after awhile (for some odd reason) VTank would stop looting corpses...It would open the corpse, scan the items, but not pick them up. It would require closing AC, and rebooting the client to fix that issue.
This new issue is even more frustrating, because it actually took me a good amount of time to manually delete all of my AC-relevant programs from my Program Files folder and then re-install into the new folder, and set everything back up again. Not only has all of that effort not fixed things, but it has actually made them WORSE.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
