Recently, I've been working on making an inventory of the available palettes in AC. This resulted in quite a few additions (especially the results of dyeing and the color palettes of Quest items) compared to the latest DCS-xml-file as compiled by Rhesus.

I made a xml-file to use with DCS for personal use, but I don't know if making this available for the general public would cause any problems for the old developers (Rhesus' his website is down atm) and how many people would be interested in it because they are still using DCS. As far as I know, the plugin is no longer worked on, but still works well ingame.

The colors I added I gave some well.. self-explanatory names, such as "DollMask", "NefaneShield", "TukalYellow" or "StampBerimphur". So yes, not just the IDs, but also the names, old and new ones are available in the xml, just like the old colors in DCS.

Some of the old names are a bit.. well.. there's like 20 sorts of Red_Leat (for red leather armor) or Blue_VPants (for blue Viamontian pants). Personally, I would like a system for these armor and clothing types more like the old system, which had all sorts of creative names. However, this would be a tremendous amount of work (finding all these colors on loot, and thinking about a good name to describe that shade...).

If the old devs are ok with it, I could make a page where other people could contribute, both for new colors to be added to the current "database" or to think out names for the colors on armor.
