I'm trying to stop using Alinco and there are some significant gaps between virindi/magtools and what I was able to do with Alinco. So, I'm wondering if some or all of these could be incorporated somewhere.

Mag-Tools:
Auto-loot (except storage)


Virindi Sense:
Mob/NPC detect (either add to Magtools or improve on Virindi sense to save across chars, and have an "exact" option rather than purely "contains"
Check box to enable portal detection

Other desired functionality (admittedly haven't looked hard at other plugins for these)
HUD:
Buff time remaining
Display active debuffs on selected mob (awesome when questing / Colo)


Basically all the sexy stuff Alinco did...


I might continue to use Alinco for buffing however because VT is not customizable, and doesn't manage vitals well.

I have found that if I'm on a melee/archer character and have stam limit set to ~100, buffing is pretty much a joke. Would love an option where you can select to fill a vital to 90% or more when the lower limit is triggered. For instance, it would fill or almost fill stam when it gets to ~100 rather than only revitalize once and bring me to 50%. Currently, raising the lower limit to ~400 stam just means I'm refilling stamina too often during fights. Is there a feature I'm missing or does that sound like how it's designed?

I added a corpse looting option in the recent version of mag-tools. That plus the chest looting is basically "auto pickup"

There are quite a few plugins that do the first one, and Target Info is the best thing for the second one. Target Info is way, way better than Alinco at that, actually. It hasn't been updated in some time and so does not know Void spells, but it still works like a charm.




Not customizable in what sense? What do you want to do that VTank doesn't, in terms of buffing?




It might not be a bad idea to have that kind of option, but you can do pretty well with a combination of the "restam at" and "top off stam at" options. I always set my "restam at" for around 55% of max, because I want it to restam after casting stamina-to-mana with full stamina. I then set "top off stam" to around 75% of max, so that in between fights I am refilled to full stamina. Combine that with a yellow colo ring and you shouldn't run out of stamina much if at all.

If I use alinco for buffing, there's a HUD there. Otherwise, I'm not going to load another plugin just for buff timer, would be a nice inclusion, that's all.

I can't remove spells from VTank buffing. VTank casts about 10-13 more spells than I need and most are item spells. Inconvenient to me. I know others disagree and say buffing everything automatically is convenient.

I don't believe top-off stam comes into play at all during a buff or force buff, so it will still only keep my stam above the ~100 threshold. (Annoying)

Set your "restam at" to 50-55% of max. It will refill stamina after stamina-to-mana and one revitalize self spell should get you close to full. It's much more efficient that way.

In my opinion, a 3-school character should never be set to below 50% for restamming. It makes buffing far, far less efficient. If you have an Item-only character like I do, you can set "restam at" much lower.
