Hello all, I haven't played since 2002/2003 and have a question about the level cap since it was raised to 275. When I quit I think my main was level 113 (Livid Lateralus on Harvestgain, does that ring a bell for anyone?), and my question is....since the cap was raised, did it push previous levels up? I read on a FAQ page about the level cap that when it was first implemented, people that were 126+ were already showing as around 210 or so. I've also read that it's a little speedier leveling nowadays as opposed to the 2+ week gaps between leveling back in the day.

And that's what ruined AC....
That and Turbines idiotic decision to not make a true AC1 sequel.

Xp chains, macros and housing killed the game.

^^ YEP YEP AND YEP.
Some would argue these things were what made AC so unique at the time. I guess if your ok with the fact they ruined the game.
I like to think the open world and character customization is what made AC great. The things listed above could have been omitted and the game would still have been one of a kind.

For me what made AC special is the lack of the "common" fantasy setting. Fully customizable characters, being able to solo well, have 10 mobs on you no problem and most of all the allegiance system. I do not understand why nobody else did this. Not even Turbine's next games.
