Last time I posted this not many people cared for it. 2nd one has come out and it has a good amount of improvements. Still a slow strategy game and not for all.

Typically, zombies are slow. Aren't they?

Mangler had an accident on the way home from the liquor store. He was run off the road and crashed into a woman's clinic. It was one giant Pabst smear.

I tried playing this...but I had no idea what i was doing. After about 15 minutes of fiddling with it, I gave up.

It was fun for an hour or two.

The game really doesn't last long enough.

Played it a few months ago, and I couldn't agree more. Once you realize how to beat this, even the hardest difficulties become trivial.

The first one was actually superior in a lot of ways.

There are few flash games or otherwise out there, that don't become straightforward once you figure them out. The hardest difficulty however does not become trivial(as in easy and routine). Or I guess you can start on an easier difficulty, save survivors and begin on the hardest difficulty and get a quick victory.

My goal is to get all 4 victories starting on the 2nd hardest difficulty (simply not feasible on impossible difficulty), without restarting for an ideal map.

What is one way the first one is superior? You are one of the very few who believe that.

I never played the first one, but I agree there are few flash games out there with re-playability, or that dont end up boring 1/2 way through. In fact, Kongregate finally put up Siege Hero. No achievements yet, but I played it months ago, and rage quit after losing one of the maps over and over, only to play it again from the start for the last 3 days. Beat it and will now go back to replay the 2 challenge modes.

Maybe I'll give this one a try again....it WAS a while ago when I tried to play it..maybe with fresh eyes.

If you are just going for a quick play through on easy or normal difficulty, the game has more fun-ness factors. Random events, survivor training, and finding equipment. Plus there are 4 victory conditions so it's not so much "just build everywhere" now.
