it's cool that the fire department does that kind of thing, esp for kids. i think that will be one of the most profoundly positive influences on his life.

Yeah I really liked that part too. I mean he did something that MEANS something- so getting some recognition for it will bolster that. Not like the empty praise that so many use these days for just showing up and breathing- GOLD STARS FOR EVERYONE.
