Before I was married to my wife, when we were teenagers and had been dating, or seeing each other (having sex) for a couple of months, I must have been about 17 and her 18, she sent me this email over AOL with the subject, "Don't dream it's over". I, not even thinking it was a song lyric figured she was breaking up with me over email. So I was really afraid to open it. I didn't open it until I communicated with her later, either in the day or the next day. Anyway, she didn't act like she had broken up with me, so when I got home I opened the email.
Don't remember what it said, but I was happy she didn't dump my arse.
The point is, punctuation and commas make a huge difference, the way I read it was like "Don't dream, it's over".
BOOM!
