I ran an APA league here for about 5 years. I quit about 4 years ago and haven't picked up a pool cue since. Last winter my buddy asked me to sub for his bar league team, and did and had fun. So now we have our own squad and it's a blast. I even bought a new Meucci cue and case off Ebay yesterday!

Do you mean billiards or pool?
I used to play pool in a bar league - was captain of my own team. It was an 8-ball league about 15 years ago - all amateur stuff.

I've never played billiards. The only place I know of that had a table in my area is gone. 3-cushion sounds insanely hard.
I've played plenty of 8-ball and 9-ball.

Used to play 8-ball and 9-ball almost every day, freshman year of college - but I don't play that much any more.

I meant 8-ball. My leagues are 8-ball anyway. I have played 9 ball obviously, but this isn't that.
