Got 3 fillings replaced today, ending my months-long dental nightmare starting with 5 teeth pulled, a crown and deep (under the gumline) cleaning.
Ugh...completely my fault too, hadn't been to a dentist in over a decade..

yeah I am getting ready to drop a couple grand at the dentist. I need a new crown, the old one I had from like 10 years ago cracked and fell off, a cavity drilled and filled, and another filling/crown on a tooth I chipped on a beer bottle.

my teeth didn't start hurting until I went to the dentist to get things fixed.

Yep, had to get two root canals and two crowns earlier this year. Ouch to my toofies and my pocketbook- although my teeth feel MUCH better now. No more sensitivity to temperatures, yay! And thank goodness for having two dental plans (mine and my husband's). Made the out-of-pocket costs much much better than it otherwise would have been.

Why fix what ain't broken?
I had cavities, they just didn't cause me pain, until they filled them. I guess the trauma from drilling caused something called Pulpits.
