Watched the first episode, still have the second recorded, maybe third at this point.

Yeah, I have watched the first 3 and still haven't made up my mind. It does seem to be improving for the overall story arc, but still pretty contrived for the individual episode plots.

The BF likes it, so I will probably keep watching it with him anyway.
