one guy with a shuffling gait gets off at the hospital stop 
old lady next to me is saying things to herself like "get the door before i write the police report"
'young' lady with meth-head looking face talks endlessly to strangers.

I rode the bus home back in August or so from Memphis to my house...
there was this old black lady trying to tell everyone about god the whole time and giving out magazines about Jehovah's witnesses'...apparently she was one. It was hilarious though, because she would not drop it with this one guy. He kept telling her he'd take a magazine if she'd go sit somewhere else, and she was like "no, cuz I know you will just leave it there when you get off the bus" so she preached to him the whole ride...and she was going to the very last stop on the route which was where that guy was going...so he was gonna have to listen for like an hour+.
and there were these 2 ghetto kids that kept hitting on every chick that would get on that was even remotely good looking...the jehovah's witness lady kept switching over to them for a few minutes because "she could tell they needed the lord".

pretty much. food, own room, a place to live with modern conveniences. people books hobbies and mild drugs to pass the time. doing something outside of the house like a job or school that i enjoy. a message board. eking out a living as a student is a good time. lucky to be living better than the guy who might have parkinson's, the addict, the i don't-know-what disease. they are the people whose brains have turned on them. have some cancer and you might find acceptance with your disease. lose your mind and you might not know you've lost it. you could always lose your consciousness in bits at a time in ways that most people don't understand. then you'd be the weirdo on the bus.
