In all fairness those strong winds are very much affected by whatever the atmospheric pressure is. On Mars there are very strong winds, but the atmosphere is so thin they would feel more like a strong breeze. However, dust particles would still do a lot of damage.

I imagine if ambient air in a given area was 4k then 3k might feel pretty frigid. And while you are partially correct you are fully screwed up.
