Don’t Tell, Show of the Day: After a photo of US Marine Brandon Morgan being welcomed home by his partner Dalan went viral in a big way on Facebook, Morgan issued the following response to the thousands of comments it generated:

To everyone who has responded in a positive way. My partner and I want to say thank you. Dalan, the giant in the photo, can’t believe how many shares and likes we have gotten on this. We didn’t do this to get famous,or something like that we did this cause after 3 deployments and four years knowing each other, we finally told each other how we felt. As for the haters, let em hate…to quote Kat Williams, everyone needs haters, so let them hate. We are the happiest we have ever been and as for the whole PDA and kissing slash hugging in uniform…it was a homecoming, if the Sergeants Major, Captains, Majors, and Colonels around us didn’t care…then why do you care what these random people have to say?

Katt Williams was talking about haters...as in people who hate because they're jealous of someone else's success.
People who would hate on this would hate because they disapprove or find it disgusting. Totally different.

Only issue I have with the photo is the LEVEL of PDA displayed. I've been to war, I know what it is to come home and what it is to come home to your SO, but you are a farking Marine man. Show some farking composure and hold back a bit until you are behind closed doors. There are children present who don't need to see that level of PDA. No matter if it is Man to Woman, Man to Man, or Woman to Woman... Dogs jumping into their owners arms however is permitted but please no open mouth licking...

It's a picture not a video, so it's really difficult to tell how much PDA was going on. Yes, you can say it looks like a lot based off the photo but if in reality he just jumped up and hugged him for like a split second it's a whole different story than what you guys are assuming happened.
