interesting thing there i noticed. i looked up my own car and you can see what the 5 year cost to own is on any model. my car came in at $36,909. not in the top 10 but not bad either and its a hell of alot more fun to drive/own than the other cars on that list.

I'm pretty sure my 1991 Ford F-150 cost me much less to own over the past 5 years than any of them.

I'm 35 years old. I have never and will NEVER buy a new car. Biggest waste of money ever.

This thread begs the question: do the "women" of ACF use a funnel to get that much sand in their vagina or do they just slide around the beach like an angry Roomba? -deadcactus-

That was pretty much the point of my post.

If you are buying a car based upon nothing but value, buying new isn't even an option.

I usually buy used, but I admit, I like my toys...and I purchase some new cars as well. Of course, I don't give a damn about value. I just buy what I want.

Buying a new car makes perfect sense if you plan on keeping it longer than 5 years.

Mangler had an accident on the way home from the liquor store. He was run off the road and crashed into a woman's clinic. It was one giant Pabst smear.
