Last year when I lost all of my weight (90 lbs in six months, thank you thank you) I did a lot of cardio.
A LOT of treamill. I needed some good tempo music with some oomph so Iron Maiden got me through that.
I'd run through an entire album, switching between The Number of the Beast, Somewhere in Time, and Final Frontier.
I know Maiden probably isn't your cup of tea, but you asked so I thought I'd share.
And man, maintaining weight once you hit your goal is in my opinion harder than losing it in the first place. I've kept it all off for just over a year now, but it's tough.
I'm not hitting the gym as often but am keeping level with what my goal was.
