or can you deal with static, bad speakers, etc....
personally as long as i can hear the music, nothing else matteres....
one time, i was shutting a buss for employees, and id play this station, and you could barely hear tyhe music and everything else was static, pissed the hell out of the other employees

I can deal with static. It reminds me of being a kid and seeing how far away I could get on the a.m radio.

Some slight or intermited static is ok on the radio, off a CD/MP3 player I wouldn't tolerate it or my home system I'd buy new speakers/headphones if they started crapping out. Or fix the wires since mostly it's the broken wires on headphones causing issues easy enough to replace a wire if you can open the set up.
Speakers it's normally the wuffer/tweeter that blew up so no use fixing them, normally it's cheaper to buy a new set well for me since I don't normally use anything that special, just computer speakers mostly.

I've just picked up my first set of decent speakers in about 15 years so I'm very much enjoying clear crisp music from them.

it depends, if it's a great song i'll enjoy it no matter what. However if its mixed perfectly on a great sound system it makes it amazing.
