That was just me..
I put a little thought into this. There'd be some benefits. Women would care most about mens' dancing and singing, unlike human-like women who are more attracted to the nest (money) and physical strength.
Hence young men would focus more on song and dance instead of being "tough and powerful", and you would see a decent drop in homicide rates.
