that's kind of funny because it looks like the pacific ocean is driving the winds all the way through colorado but the pacific winds hit the mountains that run down the middle of california and stop.

lol ATM, wind map shows 17 MPH winds...
Local weather has winds *AT* 17 MPH, gusting *up to* 30 (yeah it's windy as FK right now outside).
Pretty accurate map for the low-end conditions.
