Since I bought the place the toilet has always had this cheap flimsy toilet seat. It was worn out in places and all wobbly and flimsy. Your basic "buy the cheapest thing they got and slap it on there" toilet seat. It isn't like I spent a lot of time on it anyway though so I never really sweated it. It just irritated me every time I sat on it or when I was cleaning the toilet and noticed just how big a piece of crap the seat was. Anyway, was at the depot grabbing some other stuff this weekend and decided to grab a new seat. One of those U shaped ones without the middle in the front and all commercial grade heavy duty. Cost like 25 bucks and took five minutes to install... I really should've done this years ago, lol.

I've often wondered why most private residences have the full circle seat and public places have the open at the front style.

Likewise. It's soooo much nicer, and doesn't seem nearly as chilly during the winter months!

We had one in one of our bathrooms growing up. Not a big fan. I want a solid seat under me... my ass has enough cushion already.

one thing that hasn't changed since the dawn of mans history...everyone loves a good sh*t.
man even shares this with lower animals. even my cats get all frisky and bounce around after a crap. they stink the house up and then bounce all over the place like they're on catnip.

Our toilet seat bites back. It has a crack. The other day I wondered what the germ content is in that crack
