holy fk. my trainer suggested it and i was all sweet! cuz that's fun but omfg. it STILL hurts me to breathe hours later.

I was about to suggest it since I like to mix both then realized who the OP was. 
And yeah it is a great workout. Speed bag is good for hand-eye coordination and the heavy bag will kick your ass if you stick to a decent decent routine.
