Tube-based amp, nice.  Anyone who knows about amplifiers knows that tube amps provide the best full reproduction of sound.

i'm guessing that's a pure class a amplifier
one of the main advantages of tube amps is they clip much more gentle than a transistor type which makes them less harsh sounding
it should also keep the room nice and warm in the winter
